Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether using the singing method affects the ability to remember and understand science lessons of grade IV students of SD Negeri 028 North Bengkulu. The type of research used is pre-experiment research, the sample of this research is class IV students of SD Negeri 028 North Bengkulu, totaling 20 people. Data collection techniques using test instruments and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the analysis test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of research conducted by the author at SD Negeri 028 Bengkulu Utara, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the singing method on the ability to remember and understand science lessons for grade IV students of SD Negeri 028 Bengkulu Utara with an average score of 90. Based on the results of research conducted by the author at SDN 66 Bengkulu City, it can be concluded that using the singing method affects the ability to remember and understand science lessons for grade IV students of SD Negeri 028 Bengkulu City.
