Abstract

Strengthening the dimensions of global diversity listed in the Pancasila student profile is important to maintain and preserve the existence of regional specialties. This research aims to illustrate the strengthening of the global diversity dimension through the introduction of regional specialties as part of the Pancasila student profile dimension. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection process was done directly through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research determined informants using a purposive sampling technique. By ensuring the reliability of the information data obtained from informants, it is then validated using triangulation. The analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The research results show that strengthening the dimensions of global diversity by introducing regional specialties to students at SDN 76 is the first step so that students become more active and develop, strengthening the character of global diversity and fostering the values of the Pancasila spirit in children. Global diversity and local wisdom have a complex relationship in education and culture. This local wisdom needs to be applied in the learning process so that it can be used as a form of introduction to regional specialties and teach how to preserve them so that they are not lost due to developments over time as well as character education for students to better understand diversity and uphold local wisdom with global cultural characteristics.
